@usebruno/converters is a standalone npm package that converts Postman collections and environments, Insomnia collections, OpenAPI specifications, and WSDL files into Bruno collections from your own code.

Installation

Requires Node.js 18 or later. The latest LTS release is recommended.
Install the converters together with @usebruno/filestore, which the guides use to write the converted collection to disk as a folder Bruno can open.
Both packages are published on npm: @usebruno/converters and @usebruno/filestore.

Conversions

Each guide walks through a complete script that converts a file and writes a collection folder you can open in the Bruno app or run with the Bruno CLI.

Postman to Bruno

Convert a Postman collection and, optionally, a Postman environment.

Insomnia to Bruno

Convert an Insomnia export.

OpenAPI to Bruno

Convert an OpenAPI 3.x or Swagger 2.0 specification, as JSON or YAML.
